ABOUT

It’s said that where you're from largely impacts your identity. Well, I’m from Boring, Oregon. And before you ask, yes it’s boring. Just imagine endless acres of Christmas tree farms and cow herds and you’ve got Boring. Sister city to Bland, Australia, and Dull, Scotland.

But if I’ve learned anything from growing up in the middle of nowhere it’s that boring isn’t a bad thing. In fact, being bored for the majority of my childhood is the main reason I’m a creative. Art was a way to entertain myself and explore my curiosities about the world. I could spend hours drawing, sewing, and sculpting anything and everything I could imagine.

And while I no longer live in Boring, my interest in and admiration for all things creative remains unchanged. I’m an advid people watcher, movie and book snob, and I have one too many inspirational pictures saved to my phone. Art direction and design has become the perfect outlet for me to continue to embrace crazy ideas and bring them to life through emotionally captivating visuals.
